Qualifications

2–10 years’ experience in engineering geology or geotechnical engineering.
Tertiary degree in Engineering Geology or Geotechnical Engineering; professional registration or pathway in progress.
Willingness to undertake regular fieldwork and travel.
Strong understanding of soil and rock mechanics and site investigations.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate and undertake geotechnical site investigations including drilling supervision and sampling.
Soil profiling and rock core logging per AS 1726:2017.
Collect and manage soil/rock samples and coordinate lab testing.
Prepare factual and interpretive reports and assist with tender submissions.
