Job summary
AECOM is looking for a motivated Engineering Geologist / Geotechnical Engineer to join their Civil Infrastructure, Geotechnical Engineering and Tunnelling Team in South-East Queensland. The successful candidate will conduct geotechnical site investigations, prepare reports, and support projects across various sectors including transportation, water, and energy. A degree in Engineering Geology or a related field is required, along with 2–10 years of experience. Opportunities for development and flexible work arrangements are offered.
Qualifications
2–10 years in engineering geology or geotechnical engineering, ideally within a consulting environment.
Willingness to undertake regular fieldwork and travel.
Strong understanding of soil and rock mechanics and site investigation practices.
Responsibilities
Plan and undertake geotechnical site investigations.
Conduct soil profiling and rock core logging.
Prepare factual and interpretive reports.
