Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer / Engineering Geologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Australia. The role covers geotechnical investigations, site characterisation, and detailed design for residential, transport and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering with geotechnical electives/major.
• 2 years' experience in a consulting environment preferred.
• Proficiency in geotechnical software and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with geotechnical investigations, field programs, site testing, and data acquisition.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, specifications, and design documentation.
• Deliver geotechnical assessments and design solutions for foundations, earthworks, retaining structures, pipelines, and slope stability.
• Provide technical review and QA to ensure deliverables meet standards.
• Contribute to proposals and business development.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules and resources; maintain client relationships.
