Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer / Engineering Geologist to join our team in Australia. The role involves applying geotechnical expertise across residential, transport and infrastructure projects, from site investigations to design and construction support.

You will work with OpenGround, GeoStudio, PLAXIS, Rocscience, CIRCLY and AutoCAD, contributing to proposals and client relations while growing professionally within a global firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering with geotechnical electives/major.
• Approximately 2 years' experience, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Proficiency with geotechnical software including OpenGround, GeoStudio, PLAXIS, Rocscience, CIRCLY, AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Assist with geotechnical investigations, field programs, site testing, and data acquisition.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, specifications, and design documentation.
• Deliver geotechnical assessments and design solutions for foundations, earthworks, retaining structures, pipelines and slope stability.
• Provide technical review and quality assurance to meet industry and client standards.
• Contribute to preparation of proposals.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules and resources to achieve outcomes.
• Build and maintain client relationships and contribute to proposals and pursuits.
