Job summary

Aurecon Group in Sydney is seeking an Associate Geotechnical Engineer to lead geotechnical services across major infrastructure projects, from feasibility to construction.

This role focuses on mentoring engineers, managing multi-disciplinary teams and delivering technically complex solutions with a strong safety culture.

The successful candidate brings 15+ years of experience, CPEng, and a track record in client leadership within Australia.

Qualifications

• 15+ years geotechnical engineering experience.
• CPEng and professional registration.
• Proven leadership and mentoring of engineers and geologists.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical service delivery across multidisciplinary projects from feasibility to construction.
• Lead and manage medium to large-scale geotechnical investigations and design packages.
• Provide technical leadership on complex geotechnical problems using PLAXIS, GeoStudio and Rocscience.
• Manage proposals and tenders including scope, delivery strategy and commercial inputs.
• Build and maintain client relationships and develop new opportunities.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to engineers and geologists.
• Promote technical excellence and adherence to standards.
