Job summary

Aurecon is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Ground & Underground team in Australia. You will lead geotechnical design across feasibility, concept and detailed phases, applying advanced analysis with PLAXIS, GeoStudio and Rocscience.

You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior engineers and engage with clients to deliver practical, innovative outcomes. The role offers hybrid work options, potential site visits, and opportunities to contribute to iconic

Qualifications

• 10+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• RPEQ certification is required.
• Strong experience with FE modelling and geotechnical software.
• Defence clearance (or ability to obtain).
• Willingness to attend site as required.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality designs and reports.
• Confidence engaging with clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborative mindset with mentoring passion.
• Involvement in industry bodies such as AGS is desirable.
