Job summary

Aurecon Group is seeking a Civil / Structural Engineer, Underground Structures (5-7 years’ experience) to join the NSW & ACT Underground Structures team. You will contribute to the design of underground structures, deep shafts and tunnels and collaborate with clients to deliver sustainable outcomes.

Based in NSW/ACT, the role offers career progression within a dynamic team, with opportunities to develop both structural and geotechnical capabilities and work on diverse projects across the region.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 5-7 years of experience in underground/civil structures.
• Experience in retaining structures, deep shafts, cut and cover tunnels.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards and TfNSW specifications.
• Consultancy experience and transport sector exposure preferred.
• Interest in developing both structural and geotechnical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and documentation for underground structures within the NSW & ACT market.
• Collaborate with project teams and clients to deliver technically sound solutions.
• Contribute to geotechnical and structural analyses to meet project requirements.
