Ferrovial Construction US Corp. seeks a Geotechnical Design Segment Manager to lead geotechnical analyses, design calculations, field and laboratory coordination, and reporting for a major civil infrastructure segment.

You will drive design for embankments, slopes, bridges and earth retaining structures, coordinating with project teams and clients to ensure compliant, safe solutions. Ideal candidates have 10+ years’ experience in geotechnical engineering, a PE license preferred, and strong

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in civil/geotechnical engineering required; Master’s preferred.
• PE license preferred or in progress.
• Strong writing, communication and coordination skills.

Mansioni

• Perform geotechnical design tasks for the Segment.
• Support roadway embankments, slopes, and foundations design.
• Analyze ground movement predictions and mitigation strategies.
• Prepare 2D/3D geotechnical models under supervision.
• Prepare geotechnical study proposals, reports and quantity info.
• Review calculations and documents prepared by others.
• Interpret soil/rock test data and classify conditions.
• Apply geotechnical principles to practical design solutions.
• Coordinate with Client and Designer’s specialists on topics.
• Supervise junior engineers and coordinate with teams.
• Coordinate boring plans, field investigations and lab testing.
• Attend internal and cross-discipline meetings.
