Job summary

Ferrovial Construction US Corp. seeks a Geotechnical Engineer to support major civil infrastructure projects. You will perform geotechnical design tasks, analyze soil and rock data, and help prepare reports, proposals and quantity calculations.

The role involves field investigations, drilling coordination, lab testing, and collaboration with project teams to deliver compliant, high-quality design solutions across roadways, bridges and earthworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering required; master's preferred.
• Minimum five years' geotechnical experience in heavy civil or transportation projects.
• PE license preferred; EIT considered for progression toward licensure.
• Knowledge of ASTM standards, soil/rock classification, and lab testing.
• Proficiency with MS Office and geotechnical analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical design tasks and support project delivery.
• Coordinate field investigations, boring plans, and lab testing.
• Review calculations, interpret subsurface data, and support reports.
