Core Consultants is seeking a Data Entry and Field Data Technician (Geotechnical) to join our Sunshine Coast or Brisbane team. You will transcribe handwritten field logs into our logging software, and help create site plans in GIS/CAD to clearly show borehole locations and project features.

No tertiary qualification is required, and on-the-job training in our logging software and CAD/GIS will be provided. A careful, methodical approach and teamwork are essential for success on varied field

Qualifications

• No tertiary qualification required.
• Able to learn logging software.
• Comfortable using a computer.
• Strong teamwork and communication.

Responsabilités

• Transcribe handwritten field logs into logging software with accuracy.
• Produce site plans in GIS/CAD showing borehole locations and features.
• Prepare geological cross sections with engineers and geologists.
• Keep project data organized with light administration and record keeping.
