Job summary

FIELD Engineers, based in Mackay, is seeking a hands-on field-focused role for an engineering student, graduate engineer or technician. You will collect accurate site data, operate specialist equipment, and travel across Queensland to support design and project delivery.

The role involves outdoor work, site measurements, equipment setup, and collaboration with a team. Full training is provided, with opportunities to develop specialist skills in a growing field.

Qualifications

• Currently studying towards or have completed an engineering-related qualification.
• Willingness to work outdoors and on site.
• Able to travel across Queensland and stay away when required.
• Strong practical and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Collect accurate site data to support design, analysis and project delivery.
• Visit sites across Queensland and operate field equipment.
• Work as part of a team and take ownership of tasks.
• Adapt to camp accommodation when required during travel.

Engineering qualification in progress

Current Queensland driver’s licence
