Job summary

Geoimage is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software underpinning geospatial and Earth Observation services in Brisbane. You will translate complex spatial data into reliable, scalable software, working with geospatial specialists on ingestion, processing, validation, and output of large satellite imagery datasets.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated professional experience working with satellite imagery or EO products.
• Practical experience with raster and vector spatial data and CRS.
• 2+ years of production-quality software development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software for geospatial data processing and analytics workflows.
• Build ingestion, validation, and output pipelines for large raster/vector datasets.
• Create APIs for data transfer between internal tools and external applications.
• Develop workflows using FME to automate spatial data processing.
• Contribute to system architecture, design, and documentation.
