Job summary

Telstra is seeking a Business Specialist to provide deep business insights through analysing, forecasting, reporting, and monitoring our commercial information. You will support critical decision-making by delivering data, analysis and insights to help Telstra reach strategic objectives.

The role focuses on technology change across field services platforms, working with delivery teams on requirements, testing, training and post-implementation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in IS/IT or related discipline.
• Gathers and analyses business requirements and translates into system changes.
• Pre-release testing and quality assurance aligned to business needs.
• Manages releases and communicates changes for code, configuration and data.
• Coordinates application licences and user access.

Responsibilities

• Own the product backlog and coordinate feature teams for rollout.
• Oversee software development lifecycle and release management.
• Manage ITIL-aligned change and incident communications.
• Drive business readiness and organizational change.
• Create training materials and user guides for field users.
• Present system changes to leadership and business forums.
