Job summary

Telstra is seeking a Business Specialist to deliver analytics, forecasting and reporting that guide strategic decisions. You will connect operational needs with technology delivery, driving adoption across field services and geospatial platforms.

The role focuses on delivering business insights, enabling change, and supporting TELSTRA’s data-driven objectives while working in a flexible hybrid setup across Australia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Information Systems, Information Technology or related discipline.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating into system changes.
• Pre-release testing and QA, aligning changes to business needs.
• Managing releases and communicating changes for code, configurations and data.
• Coordinating licences and user access.

Responsibilities

• Backlog input and coordinating feature teams for pilots and phased rollout.
• Oversee software lifecycle, releases, and deployment.
• ITIL-aligned change, outages and incident communication.
• Drive business readiness and organisational change management.
• Create training materials and support for field users.
• Present system changes to leadership and business forums.
