Liverpool City Council is seeking a Geospatial Analyst to leverage GIS tools to collect, process, analyze, and visualize spatial data for diverse projects in Sydney. $1069,68 to $1172,09 +12% super
The primary purpose of the Geospatial Analyst role is to leverage advanced geographic information systems (GIS) and analytical tools to collect, process, analyze, and visualize spatial data. This position plays a critical role in interpreting geographical information to support various projects, initiatives, or decision-making processes. By employing cutting-edge geospatial technologies and methodologies, the Geospatial Analyst provides insights, creates accurate maps, and generates actionable intelligence for a wide array of applications. This individual collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to address spatial challenges, conduct spatial analysis, and deliver data-driven solutions that contribute to informed strategic planning, resource management, environmental monitoring, and other related projects. The role requires a keen understanding of geospatial data, a strong grasp of GIS tools, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders to aid in informed decision-making and problem-solving.
