Job summary

BHP invites graduates to join the 2028 Geology Graduate Program, a hands-on, field‑focused experience that builds your skills alongside experienced geologists and engineers. You’ll explore rocks, structures and ore bodies to shape mine design, safety and production across Australia.

Starting February 2028, the 24‑month program offers onboarding, guided learning paths and real projects in resources, technology and decarbonisation.

Qualifications

• Graduates must have completed a relevant degree (Geology/Geoscience) or be due to graduate by end of 2027.
• International visa holders welcome with no work restrictions by Feb 2028.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to resource definition, core logging and sampling.
• Assist drill program planning and grade control.
• Engage in geological modelling and interpretation.
• Support safe, sustainable operations and decarbonisation efforts.
