Job summary

BHP is offering a 24-month Geology Graduate Program starting February 2028. You will work with geologists and engineers on subsurface interpretation, field activities and project delivery across WA Iron Ore, SA Copper and QLD Coal operations.

The program emphasizes learning, collaboration and wellbeing, with onboarding, guided learning paths, and opportunities to contribute to decarbonisation and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduated within the past two years or due to graduate by end of 2027.
• Degrees listed include Geology, Earth Sciences, Geophysics or Geoscience.
• Suitability for multidisciplinary collaboration and field/technical environments.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to resource definition, core logging and sampling.
• Assist drill program planning and grade control activities.
• Engage in geological modelling and geotechnical data collection.
• Support safe, sustainable operations across multiple Australian assets.
