BHP Geology Graduate Program starts February 2028 and runs for 24 months, designed to build capability, confidence and a lifelong career in mining geology. You’ll work with geologists, engineers and operations to understand subsurface data and influence mine design and safety.

From day one you’ll receive structured onboarding, guided learning paths and a graduate cohort. Projects span resources, technology, decarbonisation and safe, sustainable operations with hands-on experience and growth

Qualifications

• Recent graduates (past 2 years) or due to graduate by end of 2027 with a relevant degree.
• Disciplines include Geology, Earth Sciences, Geophysics or Geoscience.
• International students with a valid visa are welcome to apply and must hold a visa with no work restrictions by Feb 2028.
• Strong observational, analytical and problem-solving abilities; collaborative mindset.

Responsabilités

• Support field and technical project work across operations in Australia.
• Participate in onboarding, training, and development activities.
• Contribute to safety and sustainable mining practices.
