Thiess is seeking an experienced Geologist to join the Technical Services team for the QCoal Northern Hub project on an 8/6 roster. You will provide coal quality advice to production and the client while contributing to the mining plan and geological production model.

Ideal candidates hold a Geology degree, have open-cut mining experience, and familiarity with Vulcan. The role offers site allowances, training, and development opportunities within a collaborative environment.

Formación

• Geology degree required or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of coal quality and geological modelling.
• Experience with Vulcan or similar software.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high-quality coal quality solutions and support production targets.
• Develop geological production model and reconcile plans with performance.
• Conduct daily geological pit inspections and report findings.
