Job summary
SWU Consultation Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Geological Engineer with active PV security clearance to join its Canberra team. The role focuses on systems engineering and software engineering within geospatial systems to deliver integrated capabilities.
You will work across architecture, feasibility, and interoperability with Defence and government environments, incorporating emerging technologies such as AI and space data exploitation.
Responsibilities
- Develop, review and assess geospatial system architectures and software concepts.
- Assess technical feasibility, architectural options, implementation risks and operational impacts of proposed capabilities and system enhancements.
- Identify interoperability requirements across Defence, intelligence and Whole-of-Government environments.
- Assess opportunities, risks and implementation considerations for emerging technologies including space capabilities, AI, advanced data exploitation, automation and related technologies.

Our client is seeking an experienced Geological Engineer with active PV security clearance to join their Canberra Team. The GSS Specialist Engineer will undertake systems engineering and software engineering activities in geospatial systems.
PV clearance
- Development, review and assessment of geospatial system architectures, software concepts, technical roadmaps and capability integration approaches
- Assessment of technical feasibility, architectural options, implementation risks and operational impacts associated with proposed capabilities and system enhancements
- Identification of interoperability requirements across Defence, intelligence and Whole-of-Government environments
- Assessment of opportunities, risks and implementation considerations associated with emerging technologies including space capabilities, artificial intelligence, advanced data exploitation, automation and related technologies
