Job summary

NSW Health Pathology, Royal North Shore Hospital, is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to join the Genetics department. You will perform a range of laboratory activities and contribute to quality management and continual improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or higher in Science/Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of Laboratory Information Systems and quality control systems.
• Ability to communicate with customers, patients and staff; report writing skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously to deliver results.
• Demonstrated initiative, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Understanding of WHS and privacy requirements.
