Job summary

Qualifications

• Casual role with potential to progress to permanent full-time.
• Hold a current C Class driver’s licence and a White Card.

• Outdoor manual labour with safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Build and install cattle yards and livestock fencing.
• Install posts, rails, gates and other steel components.
• Welding and basic fabrication where experienced.
• Measure, cut, drill and fit steel.
• Concreting and general construction work.
• Operate power tools and equipment.
• Assist with machinery and equipment onsite.
• Load and unload materials.
• Set up and maintain safe, organised worksites.
• Follow plans and instructions provided by the Team Leader.

General Yard builder fences labour's wanted

You will work as part of a team constructing and upgrading cattle yards, feedlots, livestock fencing and other rural infrastructure. Based in Warwick, QLD, the role involves working alongside and under the direction of the Team Leader on livestock infrastructure projects throughout Queensland and interstate. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in getting the job done properly.

Key responsibilities

Building and installing cattle yards and livestock fencing

Installing posts, rails, gates and other steel components

Welding and basic fabrication where experienced

Measuring, cutting, drilling and fitting steel

Concreting and general construction work

Operating power tools and equipment

Assisting with machinery and equipment onsite

Loading and unloading materials

Setting up and maintaining safe and organised worksites

Following plans and instructions provided by the Team Leader

About you

Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn

Can follow instructions and work effectively under a Team Leader

Work well as part of a team

Have good communication skills

Have a practical, hands-on approach to work

Can work safely and follow WHS requirements

Willing to travel and work away when required

Hold a current C Class driver's licence

Hold a White Card

Casual employment with the opportunity to progress into a permanent full-time position for the right person
