Job summary

Opal HealthCare is seeking a General Services Officer for Norah Head Care Community to support dining, cleaning and laundry services and deliver hospitality to residents.

You will work within a welcoming team to maintain high standards of care and comfort, with training provided and opportunities to contribute to a positive living environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, cleaning or customer service is beneficial, but not essential – we will train the right person!
• Willingness to complete Pre-employment medical and NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Responsibilities

• Food Service: Deliver outstanding customer service in dining areas, serve meals with care and know resident preferences.
• Housekeeping: Keep resident rooms and community areas clean, safe, and welcoming.
• Laundry: Manage residents' personal laundry with respect and care.
• Work as part of a supportive team to ensure a seamless and positive resident experience.
• Follow strict safety, sanitary, and infection control protocols in all tasks.
