Ramsay Health Care in Sydney, NSW is seeking an overnight hospital cleaner to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in operating theatres and surrounding areas. Shifts run from 10:00 pm to 4:30 am, supporting infection control and patient safety.

You'll clean and restock equipment, collaborate with nursing staff, and uphold safety standards. Experience in cleaning services and with equipment like auto scrubbers is valued; a flexible, team-focused approach is essential.

This opportunity will see you join a dedicated and supportive team responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital.

This position specifically focuses on overnight cleaning of operating theatres, working from 10:00 pm to 4:30 am (2200–0430). You will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe environment and supporting the hospital's infection prevention and control standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness to all areas, including wards and operating theatres
• Ensuring all equipment utilised on shifts is cleaned, restocked and stored in the appropriate storage areas
• Working in a friendly and supportive manner at all times
• Maintaining communication networks with nursing staff and other stakeholders ensuring quality clinical outcomes are achieved

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have experience in cleaning services or housekeeping services
• Experience with auto scrubbers and polish machines
• Enjoy providing a great customer service experience
• Be a team player and love to work within a large team
• Demonstrate attention to detail and take pride in your work
• Be dedicated to the highest standards of safety, cleanliness and infection control
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster.

Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate of $27.20+ superannuation, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW General Services Officer level 2)
