Job summary

Opal HealthCare Bathurst Riverview Care Community is seeking a versatile General Services Officer to support dining, housekeeping and laundry. You’ll rotate across roles delivering great service to residents in a friendly, respectful environment.

No two days are the same, with flexible shifts and opportunities to learn, with training provided. Full-time and part-time permanent roles available, with penalty rates on weekends and holidays and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, cleaning, or customer service is beneficial, but not essential.
• Willingness to complete: pre-employment medical, Police check, NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Strong communication and a friendly, professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Food Service: Deliver outstanding customer service in our dining room, serve meals with care, and know resident preferences.
• Housekeeping: Ensure resident rooms and community areas are clean, safe, and welcoming, paying attention to detail.
• Laundry: Provide an essential service by managing residents' personal laundry with respect and care.
• Work as a key part of a supportive team to ensure a seamless and positive experience for all residents.
• Follow strict safety, sanitary, and infection control protocols in all tasks.
