Job summary

Jobgether on behalf of a partner company is seeking a Middle+ General QA Engineer based in Australia to strengthen quality across web and hybrid applications. You will take ownership of QA activities throughout the development lifecycle, from early feature stages through release.

The role combines hands-on manual testing with test documentation, API validation, log analysis, and test automation support, with cross-browser validation and collaboration in a multinational team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing processes, tools, and industry best practices.
• Proven experience creating and maintaining test documentation, including test cases and bug reports.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and TestRail for test management.
• Experience with cross-browser testing and API testing using Postman.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality assurance process within the assigned team from feature development to final release.
• Promote a quality-focused culture by collaborating with engineers and stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.
• Perform comprehensive manual testing across desktop and mobile browsers.
• Conduct UI/UX testing of web and hybrid applications for usability and behavior.
• Design and maintain test cases, checklists, and documentation aligned with project requirements.
• Create clear bug reports with reproduction steps and expected vs. actual results.
• Support automated tests and broaden test coverage.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing using BrowserStack.
• Test APIs using Postman and validate client-server interactions.
• Analyze logs with Kibana to investigate defects and root causes.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to identify risks and resolve issues.
• Provide QA support throughout release processes.
