Job summary

Remedy Recruitment is seeking a General Practice Manager for a busy Gold Coast GP practice to lead operations, quality and people. You will report to the General Manager and shape how a great team delivers outstanding primary care.

In this role you will drive a patient-centred experience, support reception and clinical staff, and maintain high standards of accreditation and compliance in a busy, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' management experience in a busy, mixed billing general practice
• Best Practice experience is essential; Cubiko knowledge is highly regarded
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and service workflows
• Sound understanding of Medicare requirements, AGPAL accreditation and healthcare compliance
• A confident, collaborative communicator who builds strong relationships with doctors and clinical staff
• A calm problem-solver who thrives in a busy, accountable environment
• A genuine passion for exceptional patient care
• Tertiary qualifications in health administration, business or a related field are desirable

Responsibilities

• Operational leadership: Oversee the day-to-day running of the practice, keeping workflows smooth, efficient and aligned with the organisation's strategic direction
• Team support: Be the first point of contact for reception, nursing, medical and allied health staff, supporting training, coaching and performance
• Patient experience: Champion patient-centred care, coach reception on appointment utilisation, and manage feedback and complaints with care
• Quality and accreditation: Drive continuous quality improvement and maintain AGPAL accreditation standards
• Compliance: Ensure the practice meets all legal and healthcare regulatory requirements
• Facilities: Keep facilities and equipment managed to the highest standard
• Engagement: Work with the Practice Regional Manager to support doctor, patient and marketing initiatives
