Village Medical Centre Highfields – Highfields QLD

The purpose of this role is to provide exceptional, safe, evidence-based, and patient centred nursing care to the patients of Platinum Health Group. The practice nurse delivers a high standard of professional care that supports positive patient outcomes and aligns with best practice clinical standards.

The Practice Nurse works collaboratively within the practice team and across other PHG sites, as well as liaising with allied health professionals and health care providers in the greater community. Demonstrating initiative and accountability, the nurse contributes to the effective and efficient operation of the practice while maintaining professional standards and working within their scope of practice and relevant AHPRA requirements.

• Additional qualifications such as Accredited Women's Health Certificate, Diabetes Education Certificate, Asthma/Spirometry training, advanced wound caret certificate, Immunisation Nurse Qualification/recognised immunisation training (desirable)
