Job summary

My Doctors Clinic Surfers Paradise is a bulk-billing general practice on the Gold Coast, seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our team across the treatment room and clinical support services.

You will perform triage, wound care, immunisation, chronic disease management, recall activities, infection control, ECG/spirometry, and assist GPs with procedures, while maintaining accurate documentation in Best Practice software.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1), without restrictions.
• Demonstrated clinical nursing experience; general practice or primary care experience highly regarded.
• Best Practice (Bp Premier) software experience desirable.

Responsibilities

My Doctors Clinic Surfers Paradise is an accredited, bulk-billing general practice operating 365 days per year in the heart of Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast. We provide comprehensive primary care to a large and diverse patient community.

The position

We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (38 hours per week) to work across our treatment room and clinical support services. Duties include:

• Triage and patient assessment; treatment room procedures including wound care and dressings
• Immunisation and vaccination services, including cold chain management
• Chronic disease management support, care plan preparation and health assessments
• Recall and reminder system management and clinical follow-up
• Infection prevention and control support and sterilisation processes
• Clinical measurements (ECG, spirometry) and assisting general practitioners with procedures
• Accurate and timely clinical documentation in practice software

Skills and experience required
