RB Motors Premium Pty Ltd on behalf of Seven Corp is seeking a General Motor Mechanic to join the Southport, QLD workshop. You will oversee daily operations, diagnose issues, perform repairs and servicing, and discuss options with customers.

The role requires a Certificate III and 3+ years’ experience, with a 38-hour week at a full‑time, permanent position. Competitive salary with superannuation is offered.

Seven Corp on behalf of RB MOTORS PREMIUM PTY LTD Overview: RB Motors Premium is a leading automotive service provider, committed to high-quality vehicle repairs and maintenance. We are looking for a General Motor Mechanic to join the team!

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the automotive workshop, ensuring all vehicles are serviced and repaired to a high standard. His role involves diagnosing mechanical issues, performing repairs and maintenance across a variety of vehicles, and coordinating workflow within the workshop to ensure efficiency and safety. This is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Southport, QLD.

Main tasks:

• Supervise and coordinate daily workshop operations.
• Diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical issues.
• Conduct routine servicing, maintenance, and quality control checks.
• Communicate with customers to discuss vehicle issues and repair options.
• Prepare quotes and manage invoicing and job documentation.
• Order and manage parts and workshop inventory.
• Ensure safety standards and procedures are followed at all times.
• Support and guide team members to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Maintain strong customer relationships to ensure excellent service delivery.

Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience:

• Minimum of a relevant Certificate III qualification
• At least 3 years' relevant industry experience

Required/Relevant Skills & Knowledge:

• Ability to diagnose issues quickly and find effective solutions.
• Ensuring repairs are done correctly and safely, catching small issues before they become big problems.
• Prioritising tasks and completing repairs efficiently without compromising quality.
• Collaborating with other mechanics, apprentices, or service staff to get work done effectively.

Annual salary will be between $76,000.00 to $86,000.00 (plus superannuation) depending on level of experience. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
