Job summary

The Alliance Hotel in Spring Hill, Brisbane, seeks a General Manager to lead day-to-day operations across restaurant, bar, and function spaces while driving growth and maintaining premium pub dining and service standards.

You will oversee front-of-house and kitchen collaboration, manage events, optimize labour and costs, and inspire and empower a customer-centric hospitality team to deliver strong financial performance.

Qualifications

• Proven hospitality management with high-volume venue experience.
• Strong business skills including P&L, inventory, and labour cost control.
• Exceptional communication and natural leadership.
• Ability to build relationships with corporate clients and patrons.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations across restaurant, bistro, bar and function spaces.
• Maintain reputation for premium pub dining and ensure seamless service with kitchen collaboration.
• Oversee events across spaces and coordinate with planners and flexible menus.
• Maximise profitability through the beverage program and curated offerings.
• Manage inventory, labour optimization and drive revenue targets.
• Cultivate warm, efficient service culture that defines the guest experience.
• Recruit, train and motivate a customer-centric hospitality team.
