THE ORGANISATION

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this is a broad and influential leadership role with responsibility for the operational infrastructure underpinning the People & Culture function. Leading a team across Reward & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, People Services and HR Technology & Systems, you will ensure these functions operate effectively while continuing to improve, simplify and automate the employee experience. A particularly important component of the role will be Reward and remuneration governance. You will provide leadership across executive remuneration, incentive programs, remuneration frameworks and governance, with the credibility and technical capability to work closely with senior executives and contribute to Board and Remuneration Committee processes. More broadly, you will identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and service delivery, including the intelligent application of AI and automation. You will bring a strong customer mindset to People Operations and build highly collaborative relationships across the broader People & Culture function.

THE CRITERIA

To be successful in this role, you will be an accomplished senior People & Culture leader with strong experience across Reward, People Operations or a similarly broad specialist portfolio. You will bring sophisticated remuneration capability, ideally gained within an ASX-listed or similarly complex and highly governed environment, and be comfortable working with executive remuneration, incentives and remuneration governance. Strong numerical and analytical capability is essential. Importantly, you will also bring broader exposure to areas such as People Services, payroll, HR technology, Talent Acquisition and/or transformation. You will be naturally curious about technology, AI and automation and able to identify practical opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery. You will be commercially minded, highly collaborative and comfortable getting into the detail when required. You will have the confidence to challenge constructively, lean into complex problems and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and your own team.

The role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne.
