Lead a large, diverse portfolio through a defining year of growth and reform.
Intereach is a not-for-profit community organisation that has worked across rural, regional and remote communities for more than 50 years, throughout the Riverina-Murray region of NSW and the Loddon, Goulburn and Mallee regions of Victoria. We support children, families, older people, carers and people with disability, and our vision is strong, connected communities. We are in the middle of the most ambitious period of growth and change in our history.
We are looking for an experienced operational executive to lead our Disability, Education and Care, and Family and Mental Health portfolio for twelve months while the substantive General Manager is on parental leave.
Our strategic direction is set. What we need is someone who can deliver it exceptionally well, in the months when it becomes real for participants, families and staff.
Reporting to our Co-CEO and leading a team of Senior Managers, you will be accountable for the performance, quality, safety, financial results and people outcomes of a large and diverse portfolio: NDIS Partner in the Community (Local Area Coordination and Early Childhood), early childhood education and care, and family and mental health services. You will sit on the Executive Leadership Team and contribute to decisions for the whole organisation, not only your portfolio.
Intereach is a well-respected community organisation supporting 38 local government areas with over 550 staff and more than 30 impactful programs. We’re proud of our strong culture and our vision of Strong Connected Communities. We believe in people, and we invest in your growth and wellbeing.
We proudly welcome applicants from all walks of life. People of all ages, backgrounds and cultures are encouraged to apply.
We welcome unpaid carers, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse people, the LGBTQI+ community, people with disability and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants.
