Job summary

Intereach is a not-for-profit community organisation operating across rural and regional NSW and Victoria. We seek an experienced executive to lead our Disability, Education and Care, and Family and Mental Health portfolio for twelve months while the General Manager is on parental leave.

The successful candidate will report to the Co-CEO, lead a team of Senior Managers, oversee performance, quality, safety, financial results and people outcomes, sit on the Executive Leadership Team and drive

Qualifications

• Senior operational leadership experience in health, human services, education and care, with accountability for financial and service performance.
• Experience leading teams through significant change, reform or transition with a track record you are proud of.
• Experience establishing a new service, program or site in a licensed, accredited or regulated setting.
• Strong commercial judgement, with discipline to know your numbers early.
• Deep commitment to child safety, participant rights and person-centred practice.
• Track record of identifying, pursuing and securing new service or funding opportunities, including through partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead a large portfolio including NDIS Partner in the Community (Local Area Coordination and Early Childhood), early childhood education and care, and family and mental health services.
• Sit on the Executive Leadership Team and contribute to decisions for the whole organisation, not only your portfolio.
