Job summary

Freshwater Quality Management – Cairns QLD is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the operational and financial performance of the Hospitality and Tourism division, overseeing multiple sites and driving growth.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will manage assets, capital works, budgets, and high‑performing teams while ensuring compliance and exceptional guest experiences across Bungle Bungle Savannah Lodge, Freshwater East Kimberley, The PumpHouse Restaurant and related

Qualifications

Significant management experience within the hospitality and tourism industry.
Experience coordinating multi-venue / multi-site operations (cluster management) is highly advantageous.
Experience coordinating asset maintenance programs and capital works to ensure facilities are well maintained and within budgets.

Responsibilities

Drive operational and financial performance across multiple hospitality and tourism businesses.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Oversee asset maintenance programs and capital improvement projects.
Prepare annual budgets and forecasts for MD approval.
Lead, mentor and develop department leaders and operational teams.
