Coolwaters Discovery Parks, Yeppoon, part of the G’Day Group, seeks a hands‑on General Manager to lead the park’s operations, guest experiences and group catering facilities. As the General Manager, you will take the reins of a diverse accommodation and group tourism operation, with responsibility for delivering operational excellence, exceptional guest experiences and sustainable commercial performance.
You’ll lead an experienced team and oversee the day-to-day operation of the park, including its school group and catering facilities.
We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on hospitality and tourism leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and understands what it takes to operate a successful accommodation business with group catering facilities.
You will be commercially focused, customer-centric, resilient and passionate about developing people.
This role includes extensive manual handling tasks, including lifting up to 20kg, kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery where required.
