Job summary

Opal HealthCare is seeking a values-led General Manager to lead a care community with a person-centred culture. You’ll partner with clinical leaders to deliver exceptional care, align operations, and support a safe, home-like environment for residents and families.

You’ll oversee multi-disciplinary teams, drive performance across care quality, compliance and stakeholder engagement, and champion Opal’s CARE values in every decision.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a General Manager or senior leader in a regulated, service-led environment (aged care, health or community services)
• Strong ability to inspire and develop teams, fostering an engaged, high-performing culture
• Commercial acumen with strong financial capability and a commitment to quality care
• Highly effective communication skills with a visible, hands-on leadership style
• Sound knowledge of regulatory frameworks, quality standards and risk management
• AHPRA registration (highly regarded) or relevant qualifications/experience in related field
