Job summary

Opal HealthCare is seeking a values-led General Manager for Glenroy Terrace Care Community. You’ll partner with clinical leaders to foster a person-centred, home-like environment where residents feel safe and connected.

Lead diverse teams and drive performance across care quality, finances, and compliance in a supportive, collaborative setting. You’ll champion CARE values, build relationships with residents and families, and pursue continuous improvement while guiding growth and development

Qualifications

• Experience as General Manager or senior leader in a regulated service-led setting (aged care, health or community services).
• Ability to inspire and develop teams, fostering an engaged, high-performing culture.
• Commercial acumen with strong financial capability and focus on quality care.
• Highly effective communication with a visible, hands-on leadership style.
• Sound knowledge of regulatory frameworks, quality standards and risk management.

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience as a General Manager or senior leader in a highly regulated, service-led environment (e.g. aged care, health or community services)
• Strong ability to inspire and develop teams, fostering an engaged, high-performing culture
• Commercial acumen with strong financial capability and a commitment to quality care
• Highly effective communication skills with a visible, hands‑on leadership style
• Sound knowledge of regulatory frameworks, quality standards and risk management
• AHPRA registration (highly regarded), or relevant qualifications/experience in a related field
