Job summary

Showtime Consulting Pty Ltd is hiring a GCP Data & MLOps Engineer to design, develop and operate data, AI/ML and cloud-native platform solutions. You’ll work across data pipelines, model lifecycle, automation, dashboards, and REST APIs to support scalable outcomes.

The role requires hands-on GCP experience, Dataflow/Beam, Python, BigQuery and DevOps/MLOps practices, with remote-friendly and hybrid work options in Australia.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and data engineering.
• Proficiency in building data pipelines with Dataflow and Apache Beam.
• Strong Python development skills and ability to create reusable libraries.
• Experience with BigQuery data extraction, preprocessing and scheduling.
• Experience delivering AI-based solutions on GCP is advantageous.
• Knowledge of DevOps and MLOps practices and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Kubeflow Pipelines for ML workflows.
• Experience deploying dashboards with R Shiny or Django.
• Experience deploying cloud-native apps with Cloud Run/Functions and Cloud Build.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines on GCP.
• Build scalable data processing and ML workflows using Dataflow, Beam, Python, and BigQuery.
• Create Kubeflow Pipelines for automated ML deployments.
• Deliver AI-enabled solutions and manage model lifecycle and governance.
• Implement CI/CD, automation, monitoring across data and ML stacks.
• Develop REST APIs and web apps for platform management and integration.
• Deploy dashboards using R Shiny or Python Django.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernise cloud platforms.
