Job summary

JPS Executive Search & Selection Pty Ltd is assisting a large regional health service in Victoria to recruit a Consultant Gastroenterologist. The role offers exposure to general gastroenterology, hepatology and therapeutic endoscopy within a 650+ bed regional referral centre.

The position focuses on procedural stability and high referral volume, with ERCP capability and strong oncology/surgical interface in a teaching hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Gastroenterology is required.
• Specialist registration with AHPRA (or eligibility) is required.
• International Medical Graduates assessed as comparable may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide gastroenterology care across inpatient, outpatient and procedural settings.
• Work within an established endoscopy service with ERCP capability.
• Collaborate with oncology and colorectal surgery interface.
