The successful candidate will lead endoscopy services, contribute to teaching and quality initiatives, and enjoy a coastal lifestyle while advancing a growing regional program.

Qualifications

Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) with advanced training in Gastroenterology, or equivalent specialist qualification.
Specialist Registration, or eligibility for Specialist Registration, with AHPRA.
Extensive experience in gastroenterology and endoscopy.
Strong communication and multidisciplinary team skills.
Experience teaching and supervising junior medical staff.

Responsibilities

Outpatient gastroenterology clinics
Upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy
Participation in the weekday gastroenterology consultation roster
Inpatient gastroenterology management
Teaching, supervision and mentoring of junior medical staff and medical students
