Job summary

• Specialist AHPRA registration or eligibility.
• Experience in independent general surgical practice, including assessment and management of acute surgical presentations.
• Strong clinical judgement and multidisciplinary communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant general surgery across acute, emergency and general cases.
• Collaborate with emergency medicine, anaesthetics and other specialties to coordinate patient care.
• Coordinate patient management in a regional cross-border setting.

The specialist we’re looking to connect with

• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in General Surgery, or recognised equivalent.

• Strong clinical judgement and multidisciplinary communication skills.
