Job summary

Growing Outdoors Pty Ltd is seeking a Garden Maintenance and Lawn Mowing assistant to join a well established local business in the Sutherland Shire. You will perform garden care tasks and maintain commercial and residential properties with a hands-on outdoor approach.

Requirements include a current driver’s license and reliable vehicle access. Opportunities for advancement exist for proven performers with a good work ethic and outdoor enthusiasm.

Qualifications

• Experience in garden maintenance and lawn mowing is preferred.
• Commercial gardening experience is highly desirable.
• Certificate in Horticulture is an advantage.
• Must have a current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle access.
• Applicants should enjoy working outdoors and have a good work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform garden maintenance including weeding, trimming, lawn mowing and planting as required.
• Assist with planting as needed and contribute to overall garden health.
• Work within the Sutherland Shire and St George areas as part of a local team.
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude on site.

Garden Maintenance and Lawn Mowing Position

We are a well established local business, based in the Sutherland Shire. We provide garden services in both homes and commercial properties, and are looking for honest and reliable applicants to join our team. They must be fit, have a good work ethic and enjoy working outdoors.

The role involves Garden Maintenance including weeding, trimming, lawn mowing and planting as required.

Existing or previous commercial experience is highly desirable. Supervisory experience or a Certificate in Horticulture a definite advantage, and the position will be filled based on appropriate experience levels of the applicant.

Work is generally within the Sutherland Shire and St George areas, and the applicant must have a current drivers licence. Please note : They are also required to have reliable access to a vehicle to enable efficient mobility for starting work or as may be needed given the schedule.

Work is paid on an hourly basis, based on the level of experience that the applicant has.

There is flexibilty, hour and numbers of days are negotiable.
