Job summary

Pink Hill Hotel in Healesville, Victoria, is seeking a Gaming Bar/Tab Assistant Venue Manager to lead floor operations, develop the team and drive business growth in the Gaming Room.

You will train staff, ensure opening/closing procedures, maintain RSA/RSG compliance, and apply knowledge of Gaming trends. A strong, presentable leader with 2+ years in a similar role is essential for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a busy venue.

Qualifications

• Current Victorian Gaming License
• RSA and RSG certificates and/or TAB License
• Experience in a similar role for at least 2 years
• Effective leadership, communications and organizational skills
• Strong understanding of System 1 and the Gaming Supervisor role
• Ability to create and maintain a great atmosphere for employees and customers alike
• Presentable with a reliable work history and passion for service in a busy environment

We are a local country hotel comprising 30 Gaming Machines, 8 Hotel rooms, Thirsty Camel Bottleshop and excellent Food and Beverage Dining and beer garden.

We are looking for a hands-on, energetic Gaming Bar/Tab Assistant Venue Manager to join our passionate team, to support with daily operations of the floor, team development, and business growth and development in the Gaming Room.

You will be responsible to lead the floor by driving high standards of customer service, guest engagement and overall venue presentation.

Assist with training, mentoring staff.

Ensure smooth daily operations, including opening and closing procedures and strict RSA and RSG compliance.

Have a solid and passionate understanding of Gaming trends and Gaming operations and Government compliancy including accounting practices.

To be suitable for our role you will require:

a current Victorian Gaming License, RSA and RSG certificates and/or TAB License

Experience working in a similar role for at least 2 years

Effective leadership, communications and organizational skills

A strong understanding of System 1 and the roles of a Gaming Supervisor

Ability to create and maintain a great atmosphere for employees and customers alike
