Job summary

Jokers on Ryrie in Geelong's CBD is seeking an experienced Bar & Gaming Attendant to join our family-owned hotel. The role requires leadership by example, customer focus, and ability to perform under pressure.

RSA and Victorian Gaming Licence are favorable, but training can be provided for gaming aspects. You will be part of a team delivering high-standard service, handling cash reconciliations, and adapting to a rotating roster including nights and holidays.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food & beverage service is essential.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.
• RSA certified with knowledge of gaming compliance would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of service to all patrons while complying with company policies and regulations.
• Ensure smooth running of hotel operations on designated shifts.
• Complete cash reconciliations accurately and promptly.
• Promote a harmonious team environment and uphold company standards at all times.
• Be flexible to rotate shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays when rostered.

Exciting opportunity available for an experienced Bar & Gaming Attendant to join a family owned & operated Hotel in Geelong’s CBD.

Skills & Experience:

Proficiency in both food & beverage service with proven experience is essential.

Strong understanding of Gaming and TAB facilities preferred however not required as in-venue training can be provided.

Maintain a high standard of service to all patrons, while ensuring compliance with company policies, Liquor Act, Victorian Gaming Compliance and government regulations.

Ensure smooth running of hotel operations on designated shifts.

Complete all cash reconciliations in an accurate and timely manner.

Ensuring that company standards are adhered to at all times, as well as promoting a harmonious team environment.

Be willing to take responsibility and accountability.

The right candidates must have excellent communication skills and a strong customer service focus, as well as be professionally presented and groomed at all times.

Current RSA required.

Current Victorian Gaming Licence & RSG preferred however not required however must be obtained upon appointment of position.
