Job summary
Huntlee Tavern in Branxton, NSW, is seeking an experienced Gaming Manager to lead the gaming room and oversee venue operations. You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with gaming and licensing requirements, deliver exceptional customer service, and maintain safe, responsible gambling practices in a busy hotel/pub setting.
This role offers the chance to contribute to a busy, established venue with opportunities for growth within the hotel group.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in gaming operations, gaming supervision, or venue management.
- Strong knowledge of gaming compliance and responsible gambling requirements.
- Current RSA and RCG/RSG certification, or ability to obtain.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Good cash handling, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Experience in a hotel, club, pub, or hospitality venue will be highly regarded.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the gaming room
- Supervise, train, and support gaming and venue staff
- Ensure excellent customer service is delivered to patrons
- Monitor gaming machine operations, cash handling, payouts, and reconciliations
- Maintain compliance with all gaming, liquor, AML/CTF, responsible gambling, WHS, and venue policies
- Ensure responsible conduct of gambling practices are followed at all times
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and incidents professionally
- Monitor gaming room presentation, cleanliness, and customer experience
- Assist with staff rostering, performance, and training requirements
- Prepare reports relating to gaming operations, revenue, incidents, and compliance
- Work closely with senior management to improve venue performance
