Job summary

The Ettamogah Hotel in Kellyville Ridge, NSW, is seeking a Gaming Manager to lead our gaming room, ensuring friendly service and compliant operations across all shifts. You will know regulars by name, coach the team, work with the Publican to keep the room safe, legal, and thriving, and bring energy, high standards, and a welcoming vibe to every guest experience.

• Strong knowledge of gaming compliance and safe gaming practices.
• RSA and RSG/RCG certificates current per state requirements.
• Ability to lead a team, deliver great guest service and manage stock tasks.

We’re on the lookout for a Gaming Manager to help run our gaming room and keep it the friendly, welcoming spot our locals love.

The Ettamogah Hotel is an iconic, family-friendly destination in Kellyville Ridge. This modern venue features multiple dining areas, a massive undercover courtyard, live music, and a state-of-the-art play centre complete with a rock climbing wall. From big family celebrations to intimate dinners, we are famous for delivering fun and unforgettable experiences for all ages.

A day in the life of a Gaming Manager:

• Know the regulars by name and make them feel right at home
• Work closely with the Publican to keep the room running smoothly, safely, and within all the rules
• Share your gaming know-how and help your team be the best in the biz
• Bring the good vibes, great service, and friendly smiles every shift

Inherent requirements:

This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You’ve been in the gaming room world for a while, as an attendant, supervisor, or manager
• You’ve learned from great managers and are ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the gaming room
• You understand compliance and safe gaming inside out
• You’ve got a current RSA and RSG/RCG as per state requirements
