Job summary

Castle Hill Tavern, part of ALH Hotels in Sydney, is looking for a Gaming Manager to run our gaming room with a friendly, welcoming service mindset. This hands-on role involves lifting and handling stock and kegs as part of regular duties, and requires RSA, RCG and ARCGas in line with state rules.

You will know regulars by name, lead the team, and work with the Publican to keep the room compliant, safe, and energetic.

Base Salary $79,600 + Super + Bonus Scheme + Group wide discounts

We're on the lookout for a Gaming Manager to help run our gaming room and keep it the friendly, welcoming spot our locals love.

The Castle Hill Tavern is the Hills District's original local pub. We're a lively, multifaceted venue featuring a bustling Family Bistro, TAB, beer garden, function spaces, and regular live entertainment. Join our team and help us deliver the friendly, efficient service our community loves.

A day in the life of a Gaming Manager:

• Know the regulars by name and make them feel right at home
• Work closely with the Publican to keep the room running smoothly, safely, and within all the rules
• Share your gaming know-how and help your team be the best in the biz
• Bring the good vibes, great service, and friendly smiles every shift

Inherent requirements:

This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You've been in the gaming room world for a while, as an attendant, supervisor, or manager
• You've learned from great managers and are ready to step up
• You've got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the gaming room
• You understand compliance and safe gaming inside out
• You've got a current RSA, RCG and ARCGas per state requirements
