Job summary

ALH Hotels is seeking a Gaming Manager for the Norwood Hotel gaming room in Adelaide. You’ll lead a small team, oversee gaming operations, ensure compliance, and deliver great guest experiences in a welcoming, community-focused venue.

In this hands-on role you’ll manage day-to-day gaming room activities, build strong relationships with regulars, and work with the Publican to run the room safely, legally, and efficiently. RSA, RSG and RP badges are required.

Qualifications

• RSA, RSG, and RP badges required.
• Experience in gaming room management or supervisory roles.
• Strong understanding of gaming compliance and safety.

Responsibilities

We’re on the lookout for a Gaming Manager to help run our gaming room and keep it the friendly, welcoming spot our locals love.

A day in the life of a Gaming Manager:

• Know the regulars by name and make them feel right at home
• Work closely with the Publican to keep the room running smoothly, safely, and within all the rules
• Share your gaming know-how and help your team be the best in the biz
• Bring the good vibes, great service, and friendly smiles every shift

Inherent requirements:

This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You’ve been in the gaming room world for a while, as an attendant, supervisor, or manager
• You’ve learned from great managers and are ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the gaming room
• You understand compliance and safe gaming inside out
• You’ve got a current RSA, RSG and RP Badgeas per state requirements
