You will mentor the host team, ensure 100% airtight compliance, manage room flow during jackpots, and balance the books to the cent while delivering an energetic, welcoming atmosphere across every shift. RSA and RSG are required.

Are you an experienced gaming specialist ready to take total operational ownership of a bustling 40 machine gaming room in Brisbane’s northwest? The Ferny Grove Tavern is looking for a driven, customer-focused Gaming Manager who knows how to deliver high-touch player service, maintain immaculate room presentation, and keep a high-trade lounge firing at peak performance!

"The Ferny Grove" blends strong suburban trade with a deeply loyal local customer base. Whether you are managing room flow during a busy jackpot run, greeting regular players by name, or coaching your host team on fast payout execution and RSG compliance, this role demands a leader who loves being right in the center of the action. We need someone with sharp operational instincts who can balance the books to the cent, maintain 100% airtight compliance, and create an energetic, welcoming room atmosphere every single shift.

A day in the life of a Gaming Manager:

• Know the regulars by name and make them feel right at home
• Work closely with the Publican to keep the room running smoothly, safely, and within all the rules
• Share your gaming know-how and help your team be the best in the biz
• Bring the good vibes, great service, and friendly smiles every shift

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You’ve been in the gaming room world for a while, as an attendant, supervisor, or manager
• You’ve learned from great managers and are ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the gaming room
• You understand compliance and safe gaming inside out
• You’ve got a current RSA and RSG as per state requirements
